My name is Henry and I'm 18 years old. I commute to college, which is literally 10 minutes away (my best time was 6 minutes when I was late for class ).
I just picked up the Battle For Macragge set for Warhammer 40k. I have been quite interested in miniatures for some time, but never actually had the courage to dive in. Since June of 2007, I have been in a guild for Warhammer Online. Some of my fellow members (whom are quite good friends now) talked about playing tabletop games which really sparked an interest. A few of my friends from my school/neighborhood apparently play 40k as well, which I found out literally about a month ago.
After checking out the Games Workshop site, I was set on getting started... which I finally did today. I got the boxed set as I said before as well as the starter painting set, glue, and some chaos black basecoat. I think after my noon class tomorrow, I will start building.
If you want me to be totally honest, I don't care too much about actually playing battles, scenarios, etc. right now. All I really want to do is model/paint and build terrain. This is what is most fascinating about the hobby to me.
Sorry for the over-extended intro times 100. I hope to get to know everyone and you'll probably see me poking my head around the Scenery forum. ;Y
