hello just started warhammer 40k and i just wantd to ask some basic questions. ok what does all those letters mean in that little chart under each guy. ws=weapon skill bs=balistic skills S=strength? i=initiative? and what does the t,w,a mean.
now with dice rolls. ok lets say if u shot a lascannon at a sm rhino. what would u need to roll to hit it and what would he have to roll to save it?
and with guardsmen ws3 bs3. if u shot a lasgun at a tau firewarrior what would u have to roll to hit it.
i appreiciate any answers and i hope to have a nice stay here at LO.
first off welcome to lo you will find much information here second
the letters represent stats of specific charichters and units in the game of warhammer for instance w or wounds of a carichter show how many hits he can take before the specific individual dies most have a wound rating of 1 which means that they take one wound before dieing some larger or more heroic figures may have 3 or more wounds
as for the las cannon thing that and more can be found in the basic rule book
Well, seeing as we aren't allowed to post rules, we can't ansewer. Oh, and read the rules (see sig). Not net language. Enjoy LO, and Welcome! ^_^
