I started playing GW games 15 years ago. I collected Woodelves for WHFB and played Blood Bowl (Woodelves, Dark Elves, Orkz, Human). Ten years ago I put everything into storage since I figured the serious side of life was about to start and left it there until a couple weeks ago when I moved to Zurich, Switzerland, and happened to walk by a shop that sells GW products. They also pointed me to the local GW community and so I'm back in, currently adding an army of Orkz so I can also play 40K.
I found LO because I have to catch up on 10 years of rule changes and need help on assembling my 40K Orkz.
BTW, if you wondered about my "weird" thread title, it is a formal way of saying Hello in my native tongue (Swiss German).
Hi, welcome to LO- your very lucky as youve come across the friendliest forum on all things GW related, and we will be happy to help you find your feet after your gaming hiatus.
Quite a few people here have had similarly long breaks so any questions you may have we will all be happy to help you with!
As we are saying hello in different languages ive added my own (although not my native tongue its a greeting in Welsh, the language of where I live (wales naturally))
PLAN CLAN MAN!!
He who makes a beast of himself gets rid of the pain of being a man- S. Johnson
Yes indeed, velkommen (danish), to LO. The best place to be!
We have quite a few people who take those breaks, and come here to catch up. We are happy to help any way we can... In return we only request one thing;
Please take the time to read and follow the rules (not that you have broken them)
-Hope to see you around!

Thank you for your kind welcoming - and obviously I already broke one rule, namely to use English only. :ballon: I have to say that the quality of this forum can be quickly seen if one takes the time to read through a couple howtos, newbie guides, threads, etc. and that's why I signed up here. It's the first imression that counts. I know how important good moderating is since I have modded in a Linux forum for years, so thank you guys for taking that time. ;Y
