As you might have already guessed, Im an Aussie, and live on the South-East coast of Australia in a place called Bulli (about 1-1.5hrs drive south of Sydney).
Im 20 year old male and started my tabletop miniatures collection with Chronopia, not sure if anyone knows what that is, but it was approx. 10 years ago. I started my Warhammer Fantasy collection with Empire from the time of version 6 rules. I chose Empire as many people i know view them as weak manlings who resort to technology to win, so they intrigued me with the "underdog" idea. My decision was also helped after seeing the armoured knights in full plate shiny armour, (Ancient Medieval History Fan) and with myself being of German dissent made them perfect for me.
I still have Empire and have a standing army of about 5000 points (inc. spec chars). But soon with imports from America, it should grow to at least 6000 - 7000. I still have a way to go since my close friend has over 10k of dwarves at his disposal.
However, as i grew older and got a job i was able to extend my reach into 40k and chose Space Wolves as my army since the Wolf is a personal favourite animal and the fact that their history has a semblance to that of Vikings (once again my ancient history interest helped me choose). Presently i have about 3000points of Space Wolves including all 3 characters from the book. Though this comprises mainly troops, tanks are required very soon lol. Though im interested in the Daemon Hunters Grey Knights models so will hopefully include them as part of my SW force, especially since deep-striking marines with WS5 and S6 will help obliterate any nasties i may come across.
I have a small contingent of High Elves to support my hardy humans in battle as per the newly released Legendary Battles' rules.
With so many "good guys" i believe i needed an output to express my inner cruelty and with the release of Daemons i thought i cant go wrong, so will soon venture to the Realms of Chaos.
Nonetheless I look forward to browsing these forums and commence my time here as a member and gain new ideas and insights into gaming and hobby. Thanks for those who have taken time to read and hopefully talk to you all soon.
