Welcome to Librarium Online!
After a long while of having Warhammer (both Fantasy and 40k) on a semi-hold, due to a lack of time caused by playing a lot of D&D, I recently started it more actively again.
My main army at the moment would be Empire, as it is the one I'm currently paying most attention to and I'm more into WHFB than WH40k. Besides Empire I still have my Bretonnian's around and I like playing with my dad's High Elves as well.
For WH40k I have a relatively small space marine army, which is actually the reason I landed on this forum. While I think my painting skills are "oke". If I paint a model it has all it's details painted within the lines, but not much on the part of dry-brushing, higlighting, etc. However seeing more and more amazing looking armies, did inspire me to go and look into getting my marines chapter more worked out fluff-wise and in cool models. First this required me a chapter badge, which in turn lead me to minus_t's tutorial bagdes and Black Dragons thread. First of which I could only see if registered.
All I could say is thanks for the great tutorial (and army), I hope to put it to practise soon.
So that's how I landed here. Hoping to pick up some tips and tricks (mainly on conversion/modelling/painting) and occasionaly to have some form of soundboard.
Happy Gaming and all the best for the new year.
Hi there. It's always good to have another WHFB player aboard. If you have any questions, PM me or another mod, and we'll be glad to help.
LO's a big place. Take your time to wander around and get to know the place. You'll find a lot going on.
First welcome to LO, next if you are looking for advice and inspiration when it comes to converting and painting I must say those special boards have an abundance of good people.
Both skilled artists and good teachers more than willing to give a hint, tips and good constructive critisism.
