Hello there everyone. My name's Liam and i've been playing warhammer fantasy battles for about a year and a half now. in that time i've managed a fully painted 4,500 point wood elf army, a fully painted 3,000 tomb kings army, a fully painted 2,500 ogre kingdoms army and am currently in the process of painting up a bretonnia force.
Looking forward to hearing your advice and perhaps even imparting some of my own experiences.
WOAH! Thats a lot of stuff to have painted in such a short period of time! I look forward to seeing some pictures of your armies. Which of the armies you've done is your favourite?
probably the wood elves. the first few models i painted were a bit poorly done but i quickly picked it p and have some very unique conversions which make the army stand out a lot, but i think the bretonnians will probably be the best painted as i'm taking longer over them to make sure they look their best. i'll post some photos sometime.
The trick to getting it all painted is that i don't play with unpainted models, so if i want to use a new unit etc it forces me to do it.
Cool, sounds good. I wish I had the time/patience to do that. I'm currently in the middle of a long empire project that's been 4 months on and off and I'm barely done with assembly!
Welcome aboard. Playing with painted models just add so much more enjoyment to play with. I am sure that you will find all kinds of advice and help here. Just do some reading and reading here and you will come up with all kinds of ideas about tactics.
Hello there pyromaniak2k
A welcoming party is in order. Unfortunately, all I have is this little guy
With so many minis under your belt, why don't you post some of them in our showcase or in the painting forum. I'd be interested to see some of your work.

Welcome Liam and look forward to seeing you around the Wood Elf section.
What kind of Wood Elf army are you thinking of?

The "A Smart Player Will..." theory is a complete paradox. If we make an assumption that everything we do is outsmarted, then theoretically we can never win.
