I originally got into Warhammer with some friends at uni but financial pressures put an end to it.
I'm now mid 30's and getting back into it. I bought the AoBR set a few months back almost on a whim, played a few games and voilą, I'm back into it! Now really getting into Chaos Space Marines, I've got just over 1000 points, all painted and will be picking up another 500 points in the next few weeks.
Although I consider myself a beginner I've done what I consider a reasonable job on the painting and actually enjoy the "hobby" aspect a lot!
So hello...and will try not to go back to lurking!
Mid-30s eh? Woohoo! Another one! My gf bought me AoBR as well, God bless her, and now I'm preparing to start up both Orks AND Marines, once I finish my 'crons. So I'm a slow painter. So what
Nice to see you. Do pop in to our sub-forums to see even more good stuff!
Yes, I bought it on a whim with encouragement from my wife...if only she knew where it would lead...must of spent about £300-400 in the last few months, split almost 50/50 between terrain and models. It's great fun though..
Going to stop at 1500 points of CSM and then build up another army, Tau are looking favourite at the moment but IG look good too...
