Greetings! After a long time away from 40k I've returned. Once upon a time, when I was perhaps 15, I had a respectable sized marine force. About 3 tactical squads, a Chaplain, a Dreadnaught, and a few other pieces barely remembered. Many years have passed since then. Now in my thirties I want to come back to the game. It was difficult to resist this sprawling universe full of grim dark insanity and black humor. I'm in the process of acquiring a Tau Empire force. Gun toting frisbies and anime battle suits look like a blast to collect. So here I am to get caught up on tactics, rules and the culture of Warhammer.
Welcome to LO and welcome back to 40k, Tabris! Be sure to check out our forum rules. We have many experience Tau players on these boards, and I've a reasonable amount of experience myself. If you have any questions about the game, the army or the forums as a whole, don't hesitate to ask!
Gun totting frisbees!! Pure gold.
I am so pinching that!
Oh, and welcome to LO.

The "A Smart Player Will..." theory is a complete paradox. If we make an assumption that everything we do is outsmarted, then theoretically we can never win.
