Fantasty player Tomb Kings/Skaven.
Also BB and Mordhaim.
I am also into solo plaing, and interested in exschanging experience in this field (scenarios, setups...)
When you say you are solo playing, do you mean you play both sides against each other? I bet you can learn a lot by doing that. Like guesstimating charge ranges, learning rules that would come up a lot in games about your armies, things like that. I should try small wargames with my Sisters of Battle before I try playing other people...
Tomb Kings are fun, aren't they? Queen Khalida is so neat! Skaven, well, I get beat by them a lot, so they must be neat, but I want to kill them all...lol!
Anyway, welcome to Librarium Online, enjoy your stay!
Welcome to LO.
Tomb Kings are a great army to play. Very hardy and the imagery is second to none.
Best of luck with the gaming.

The "A Smart Player Will..." theory is a complete paradox. If we make an assumption that everything we do is outsmarted, then theoretically we can never win.
Yes, plaing both sides one against another, but also plaing story driven mordheim/skirmish campains where I play one side, while the other is moved randomly (scater dice or specific rules). Some scenarios for such play can be found on the net, and I have written few more.
I am thinking about making a web page dedicated to solo gaming with campains and scenarios, but I can not find time .
Solo play sounds very intriguing! I would like to get some Gene-Stealers or Necrons and do the random movement with some light guidelines for moving (assault tyranids must always move towards my Sisters, Shooty Tyranids randomly assault or stand and shoot, like that ) and play small battle 'robot' simulations. Like the opening of the 'Tomb Raider' movie or the X-men Danger Room, lol! It sounds like fun and is sure to hone my gaming skills.
Let me know if you ever publish your home rules for this online, okay? I would love to see them!
Keep the Faith!
welcome aboard. Solo gaming can be fun unless you are playing against a bad general. You will here the terms math hammer or theory hammer which is trying to see on paper how well an army will work. It can be fun but like solitary it gets old after a while.
Hopefully you have a gaming store close to you. For myself i have to drive 40 miles and with gas prices slowly raising, chooses will have to be made.
For me, solo playing is always fun, and since I was a kid I used to create rules for solo plying for different games.
Of course, having an oponent IS better, and I am not letting my PVP efforts aside...
There is not very big (maybe 15 players) but strong community in my town, with regular gaming sessions once a week (FB, BB and Chaos on the streets multiplayer Mordheim campain in progress where my Rotten Rats warband is holding to close seccond place behind steel whips of Sisters of Sigmar), and a turnament in february.
Some of us tried also 40K, but we returned to Fantasy very quickly, I gues that is just the European way. We are the old world
Since there is so few of us, we share the club with AD&D and Magic the Gatherig players...
