Hey guys. Ive been coming and going reading in these forums and now ive decided just to join it. A little about myself. I got in 40k like 5 years ago but i never got into it cause it was sooooo confusing and expensive but then i got back into it after seeing my art teacher painting some space marines and i took in interest in painting them. I recently bought a AOBR set of marines and sold the orks. Big mistake as now i want my Orks back! lol. Anyways i've painted my space marines purple and grey. Still trying to figure out fluff and a name for them, hopefully you guys can help me with that. i will be posting pics of them soon. Now, they are my first painted models so i know im really rusty on painting. Anyways, I hope to contribute in these forums.
Hi, nice to have an eager new player around! Shame you got rid of those orks, but the marines are cool too and it sounds like you have a fairly unusual colour scheme. I can't wait to see these pictures.
As for the name/fluff, do you have a logo of any sort for them yet? A cool logo goes a long way to creating good fluff.
Anyway, that'll do for the interrogation for now, hope to see you around the boards soon.
Haha thanks. Ya it is pretty unusual. I dont know what i was going for.
Um no i dont but maybe i should be getting a symbol. Ive always liked the letter X so maybe something with that. lol.
You could have one guy as a space wolvesey type character with 2 lightning claws.
And I've now ruined that logo
Messing about over, a gothic style X with bars top and bottom could be good, trying to think of a good name, try using this site to put in a name/description in english and get a good latin name out of it.
