Default Re- Hello All

I game with a informal group on friday evenings, from there is how i got into warhammer, i was a strictly historical gamer up until then. I eventually got roped in to playing in a 40K campaign and got going with a Necron army.... who nobody likes!!! that was as far as i was going. I did take part in some Fantasy games but some of the armies just did not appeal to me, However one of the guys was selling an unpainted Wood Elves Box set, which actually appealed to me as a viable fantasy race so i bought it and it subsequently gathered dust for ages until i decided to try to paint a few.... cut a long story short i enjoyed painting the elves and had my first game last friday against my friend and his Tomb kings and a re-match on Sunday,
Great Fun, i just need to get my head around the army composition, Magic, Spites, Kindreds Etc , the Wood elves are quite crafty. I certainly know now not to go toe to toe but to keep mobile, hit hard and fast and get out! so far two very good games- Tree singing really bugged my opponent, Very handy for isolating units.

Definately Hooked!
