Hey there, my name is Matt but everyone calls me Mully from my school days. I'm 27, i'm married and I have 2 children with one on the way. I currently live in Weston Super Mare in the UK.
I have recently started collecting Warhammer 40,000 after spending 12 years away from them and a lot has changed. I collect Blood Angel Space Marines and have also just started Lord Of The Rings. I have been looking for a friendly community and after browsing the site I believe I have found somewhere I can ask newbie questions and not have them answered by elitists
Anyway, feel free to ask any questions you may have and I will chat to you all soon
Why hello there Mully. Welcome to Librarium Online!
It's always good to see someone returning to the hobby, don't know much about the LotR games, but best of luck with that either way.
Odd that you would return right before the new Blood Angels codex is coming out. I wonder if that is a mere coincidence, or some evil conspiracy.
Make sure you take a good look-through of the Rules if you have not already.
Enjoy your stay!
Thanks for the welcome return, it is most refreshing compared to other forums who don't seem to give the new members the time of day
The Lord Of The Rings game was for me and my wife mainly as she is starting to get into GW too (She has my Ork army from the Assault On Black Reach kit), plus I wanted to paint the fellowship for my own personal showcase.
As for the new Blood Angels codex/remodels, it was just a coincidence I assure you...or do I?
Looking through the new Rulebook, its all very confusing from the edition back in 1998, I don't know where to start
I can imagine it being a pretty rough change. Sounds like you just need to start at the beginning and completely re-learn the game mechanics.
Black Reach is a pretty astounding starter set. Kind of makes me wish I played Orks or Marines.
That is probably the case with the new rules, been trying to get used to them but nothing yet. After a few practice games with the missus i'm sure that it will all flood into place.
Well, the original plan was to get a Dreadnought and some Terminators to compliment my Space Marine Battleforce with SM HQ. Would have cost me 50 quid just for those two, so I was amazed by the AOBR box. Even though its "lesser quality", it suited me for a starter force. Bargain
Hello and greetings Mully! Right now is an exciting time to be into Blood Angels isn't it? All the great rumors are starting to come in like the first waves of a rising tide. I hope they will be everything you dream of! I haven't played Lord of the Rings, I wish I could but hardly anyone plays it here in Hawaii it seems. Your family sounds lovely, congratulations
Emperor bless and cherish you!
