So apparently I can remember that a full squad of striking scorpions with my usual upgrades is 207 points but I still have to hit the "forgotten your password" button... for shame.
Hello one and all, I used to be a regular around here until competitive Magic cards eliminated all of my other hobbies, one by one, until even 40k went the way of the dodo. The happy birthday e-mails from Blackhat were nice though, and I refused to unsubscribe my e-mail to The Anzac Clan so I've been following the high's and lows of it's activity (dirty cheating Italions... although we legitimately sucked this year).
So what's changed?
Well a great new Good Games store has opened up here in Canberra. I've been watching the 40k tables from my seat in the magic tournaments and thinking I'll get back into it one day.
And then fate intervened and I overheard a conversation about Librarium Online and lo and behold several of the folks in the store were people I used to chat to back in the day! (one had even read codex: farmyard animals [which I put a lot of testing into by the way!]).
Long story short (well, not really, this is already a long intro, god I'm an arrogant prick), I suddenly have a practise game and local tournament lined up for next weekend and so I'm back here, scavenging for tactics and tips on how to rescue my painting from my teenage days (and trying to locate my avatar's right arm...).
Time to figure out where Karmoon has gotten to now. I love that cactus.
EDIT: And can someone please explain to me this new experience system that I just found in my profile? what the hell is leveling up?
Check out my Codex: Farmyard Animals here!
If anyone wants any kind of help writing fluff for any kind of GW army just ask.
Welcome back to the Librarium! I have no idea how this experience system works at all, sorry. Hope your game of 40K goes well, and that you will renew your hobbying!
---Be well, be blessed!
Hello and welcome backI think I stumbled upone that once, whas it yours?one had even read codex: farmyard animals
The levelling system gives you points for various forum based activites such as posting, making friends, blogging etc. I don't think you get anyhting other than a nice large number and a warm felling inside
There is a list of things that get points here
ANZAC clan... people still visit that place? :o I thought it died
Quote of the Week (Number 3) - "It is impossible to defeat an ignorant man in argument." - William Gibbs McAdoo (1863-1941)
Ruina's Hive - My personal Blog
Blackhat's new blog network for terrain crafters!
Following the customary "Welcome back" from Blackhat I would like to welcome you back to the forums myself. Just out of curiosity I thought I might also ask you about any other factions or games you might have played and how long this break of yours has been.
Ask me about the Black and White Space Marine on the Black and White Bike!!!
Ha, I remember farmyard animals! Been ages since I read it, to be honest... Been a while since I was in the ANZAC thread also, I keep thinking we need something to keep people involved in it but I've never really hit upon what that could be!
I'm not sure if Karmoon's on a hiatus or I just don't see him around at all... and yeah, I think the experience stuff is just for personal amusement, although Blackhat might have some ideas for the future...
Good to see you back!
