    Hi everyone,

Like it states in this topic tittle I'm new to this board, so I'll introduce myself.

I'm almost 32 years young/old. I live in Belgium. And I have an addiction for games. In particular I like video games (I own PS2, GC & Xbox), P&P RPGs (D&D, Vampire, Alternity, etc.), and wargames.

I 've been playing Warhammer since 3rd Edition. And 40K since, well... just before the end of the Rogue Trader era. Tried some other wargame systems too. But for the last years my main focus has been 40K.

My first army 40K army has been Chaos. A few years back I started collecting other 40K armies as well. Well, parts of, actually. Since my attention sways from one race to the next. And, because even though I love the hobby so much, there are two thing I don't like so much. The first being the fact that I don't like to paint. (Yikes!) Hence it is a slow, and for me, tiresome process building up any army.

    So now I have:

_ Dark Eldar: speed painted: sprayed black, gloss finish to look like latex. Hmmm... goes well with the theme of... well, you know.

_ Eldar: Haven 't decided on a color scheme yet. I can't make up my mind. I usually play an aspect warrior heavy army.

_ Chaos Space Marines: mostly Khorne. Only half painted.

_ Black Templars: euhm, speed painted. Is there any other way for BT?

_ Necrons: I liked them best simply being metal. So yet another speed painted army.

_ Tau: still boxed!!!!! Like the Eldar, I can't decide on their color scheme.

_ Tyranids: All the old models. Started speed painting them only recently, though. Nevertheless, they look nice. Thanks to some drybrushing techniques, and a simple but effective color scheme: green! Everything bone: bone color (what a surprise, eh), and just a little bit of red over their spines and tails.

_ Armored Company: Just like the Tau, waiting to be glued together.

_ And finally the army I'll be working on next with the imminent release on the new codex: my Desert Dogs. A vanilla Space Marine Chapter. Did I mention the fact I don't like boldly colored miniatures? Well, now you know. So, mine are camouflaged. But not to much. Think of American WW2 uniforms, mixed with the crazy Mad Max 2 & 3 setting (I do mean the colors, mind). Besides my WFB & 40K Chaos armies, this is the only other army that won't be speed painted. I painted a tac squad, a dread, a land speeder, a whirlwind, and a battle leader so far.

All this means I haven't played Tau, AC & Desert Dogs yet.

Right, the other thing I don't like about Warhammer is the changing of unit types. I welcome any new addition. But I really hate it when GW discontinues particular unit types, or, even worse, whole armies.

That said, I still like the game very much.

Well, my introduction is becoming rather lengthy so I'll give the 'getting to know each other' a rest.

This seems a cool board, and I'm glad I'm on it now.

    I guess that means I shouldn't be on L-O anymore, right??? I think I've experienced all of that ever since I started posting here. . . . . . . . . . .
