hey all im new here im a warhammer 40k player with a slaanesh chaos army of around 2k points which ive not long put togther
i use to collect space marines many years ago but recently change to chaos. i neva actully played when i 1st started it was jsut a hobby to collect and paint but now im really into the game allthough ive only played 1 game and got mmy ass handed to me (playing against a 10 year vet not a good idea lol )
look forward to having some good convosation's with you all
Hey there shange, sweet so you have a 2000pt Chaos army (Slaanesh) so have you had any other games other than the one against the 10 year vet? & what chapter were your old Space Marines? oh yeah & don't worry about that first loss i had a battle against a 12 year vet & lost hehe.
Well anyways you get a lot of helpful advice here so enjoy your stay & welcome to LO.
my sm use to be ultermarines basic so start learning the game allthough i neva did. was hoping to have a few games last night but hte shop was clossed so hopeing to go tomoz after work or on saturday got a few army lists made up (500 /1000 and 1500) so looking forward to trying them out
reason for slaanesh is i couldnt choose which deamon to pick and i got my other half to look through the options and she picked slaanesh which tbh it stands out and nicer to look at instead the others allthough khorne does look nice but oh well
and im not worried about loosing its all about preactice and learning ur stregnths and weakness and improving
Oh yeah & i also forgot to mention that i have a Chaos Space Marine army as well but mine are Tzeentch worshippers because i LOVE the Thousand Sons & they are also my most favourite unit in the game hehe. Slaanesh is good too, & i'm pretty sure (don't have my codex atm) that Lucius the Eternal is a follower of Slaanesh & the Noise Marines are as well hehe.
Yes that is so true it's takes a lot of practice & you get to learn your strengths & weaknesses & i wasn't really worried about my loss either i learnt from my mistake & i also learnt a few things from that battle as well. I reckon ALL battles are learning experiences (wins & losses).
