Hey there everyone. I just started collecting some Death Korps of Krieg miniatures. They are amazing. I used to play 40k years ago with my Dark Angels but fell out of the hobby. Now I plan on coming back and hopefully building a large Guard army. I also have a large Vampire Counts army and medium size Bretonnian army.
Hey there silenti79, so you have a 40k army & 2 Fantasy armies sweet, so how big is your Imperial Guard army so far? & how big *point wise* do you have in both your Vampire Counts & Bretonnians? i want eventually start a Bretonnian & Vampire Counts armies.... not yet though hehe.... oh & do you think about the new Vampire Count models that came out not so long ago for 'Storm Of Magic'? well that's enough questions for now.
Well anyways you will get a lot of helpful advice here so enjoy your stay & welcome to LO.
Well my guard force consists of 2 infantry squads, 1 company command squad, a commissar, a vendetta and hellhound. As you can see it's really too small to play with so far, but hopefully soon I'll get some more forgeworld stuff in. My bretonnians top out around 2500 pts and my Vampire Counts are so massive I couldn't tell ya. I've been collecting VC since the warhammer undead army in 4th edition. I love the new terrorgeist model as well as the zombie dragon that can be made with the kit. The problem is; it is too big. It dwarfs my varghulf and makes my converted zombie dragon look small and unimposing. I haven't picked up the new banshee or wraith but they look ok in the white dwarf, I don't think they will match any of my existing wraiths or banshee though. That's what bugs me the most about GW. I can save up if I want a model badly enough but at least make them the same scale.
