I came across LO every time I looked for information on armies. I was particularly interested in Sisters of Battle and found good threads about them here.

i often fall in 40k 'holes'. similar to wiki holes, you start with just one topic, and then you turn around have 10+ tabs open, all intriguing things you wanna read. this site kept coming up as hitting keyword searches, and the WIP threads alone are worth their weight in e-gold.
