Just thought Id introduce myself in the traditional stereotypical way we Scots love.
Ive been playing GW games for about 6 ish years now and have amassed far too many figures and armies to be healthy. I prefer painting to actually playing , but will play if forced to. Im also a member of a few other forums but most arer race specific which is a pain when I decide to switch armies for a while , and variety is the spice of life any way.
Im 38 which I gather many of you think is quite old , and I live in Edinburgh which is frightfully posh and has a castle.
I also build scale military models and play a few PC games with a clan called Walking Dead Army.
Im married ,sorry girls I know my Avatar pic is appealing etc but Im taken, and have 2 children. I love my family very much.... now you know dat.
I like music in general and guitar type stuff specifically ska punk metal goffy stuff (older the better tho) and Ozone (tho just that annoyingly catchy song maia hi)
I like films that make me laugh cry and think and also films with big explosions
I read a lot but not intense intellectual mind expanding books , generally Pratchett and Iain Banks.
I look forward to meeting you all and trying to be of some use or asking stupid questions
Oh my god, another Scot! *Runs* I know tooo many!

Ahhh...New Year's Eve in Edinburgh...There's nothing better! We have many things in common you and I. We're both old wrinklies (I've got you beat by a couple of years)...Both married with two kids...Both lean towards painting vs. playing...You build scale military models & I work on F-16s. It warms my heart to have another kindred spirit on the boards. Welcome & look forward to your posts.
I hear voices...and they don't like you!
Welcome aboard mate!
