    Hey gang!
I've been checking this site out for a while, and i've decided to start up a Blood Angels army (sanguinius rules).
However, i've never collected/painted/done anything with an army before, so i need some help:
first off, when referring to painting, what exactly is highlighting? (told you i was a n00b)
second, whereabouts can i play against other people? not much point collecting an army and not using it...
    that's pretty much it, thanx.

you got a big problem if you cant battle anyone! i have alot of friends that do it but what i suggest you do is go to wherever your buying your blood angels from and ask them, they'll be able to give you all the details of the groups around the area. as for highlighting...you no when you look at somthing and the light gets to the raised area's and the deeper area's are darker coz not much light can get to it? for example a face, start with a dark colour like tanned flesh, and paint the whole face that colour then move up to dwarf flesh and just paint the raised area's ie. forehead, nose, chin, cheeks etc. the get elf flesh and do the same thing except only the really raised bits. you can also use a watered down flesh wash(ink) to blend the three coulors together. good luck!

    A good question...
I saw a couple of guys at school (many years back) talking about it and showing each other models and codexes (version 2 codexes, the really long & in-depth ones), and i got interested in it. only recently have i had the money to build an army.
