I have recently decided to begin Warhammer 40k when I pickd up the BfM boxed set and instantly fell in love with the game. I have since decided to play Necrons and have picked up the book a Battleforce and a Lord.
Hi photodork57 and welcome to LO, please remember to read the rules that can be found at the link at the top of the page, I am sure that if you are looking for modelling tips or for advice on how best to use your necrons then you will find it here at LO.
I already looked over the boards, and they are some of the best I've seen.... You guys really seem great!
I'm glad you like LO so much photodork57! LO is a diamond in the rough.Originally Posted by photodork57

There is a strong contingent of veteran and new Necron players on the forum.
They should be able to help you with your army in terms of playing, painting, questions and fluff.

Thanks everyone esp. Griff, I might have to take you up on that. I was going on the eldaronline boards but those were closed for a while, but you guys don't seem to complain as much about stupid stuff.
Hey Griff, or anyone else, does anyone know how to paint good looking rust? I dont want to cover the mini completely, but would like to put it in a few areas.
Something for rust..... The paint that first come my mind is tin bitz but I'm not sure if that is rusty enough though, but I use it myself to make my metal not too shiny....
hi Photodork! welcome to the wonderful and expensive hobby of warhammer!
see you around the boards!
