Welcome to Librarium Online!
Greetings, Ladies and Gentlemen.
My handle is Fuyunohi, usually shortened to Fuyu. It's Japanese for those who are wondering, and translates to winter's fire (When shortened it just means winter). In life, I am named Josh, fitting the basic geek mold of thin short guy with long hair. I am a college student as well as retail monkey/web designer.
I am a gamer of all sorts, with interests especially in RPGs (17 years), Video Games (21 years), and Warhammer 40K, which I have collected to about 1,000 or so points over the course of a year now. I play Tau exclusively and can occasionally be found in the Franklin Mills (Philadelphia) GW store drooling over minis I can't afford. Someday I'll have the Cadre I really want, and then I'll start drooling over some other army.
My other interests include but are not limited to: comics, anime, drawing, programing, hockey, and motorcycles.
I'm a chronic lurker with a tendency to post an odd point here and there on some subject I feel I have expertise such as art or video games. I eventually hope to be a fixture of the Scenery and Tau forums, and possibly even submit a helpful article or two. If I'm really lucky, I hope to make some friends and have a good time as well as learn a few things about this hobby of ours.
I found LO through the webcomic Lost in Space, which I enjoy when it actually updates.
I'm a veteran tau lurker here, and rapid fire poster on the tau forums. I enjoy alot of the same things as you do, anime, comics, video games (been playing since I was 2), although I have no interest in motorcycles.
Welcome to LO and have a good time.
Ask yourself why in the world would you trust a win loss record? Playing them yourself is the only way to tell.
The true joy in the game is playing down to the last model, no matter the odds.
Hi Fuyunohi and welcome to LO, please remember to read the rules that can be found at the link at the top of the page. Quite a wide array of intrests there, I myslef like to read the odd comic now and again.
