Hail, my fellow 40K fans!
My Name is Carot (yes people really call me that), and I run a 40K club in Breckenridge, Colorado. I've only recently began reading in 40K furoms, to see what the latest topics of discussion are.
Our club is fairly far away from any gaming community, store or otherwise. The closest being 2 hrs away. Aside from that I try to keep the club fairly active, with games every week, and nigh constant army upgrades to about 10 seperate armies.
I'm fairly well versed as far as game rules, and modeling techniques go. Though, like everyone I do blunder from time to time. I also maintain a very large collection of homemade terrain, and maintain a website for the club. We've also won a few awards in some RT tournaments, when we can actually get to one. And we've had the dubious honor of generaling the black crusade at the local (2 hrs away local) GW store.
I've posted a couple of times, but never actually introduced myself, so I thought it was about time I got off my duff and did so.

Welcome Carot, hope you have as much fun in here as we do.
Hi carot and welcome to LO please remember to read the rules that can be found at the link at the top of the page. A 2 Hour drive that must be a heck of a distance for you to cover.
Thanks, guys. I admit the drive sounds horrid, especially considering gas prices. but you tend to get used to it after a while. It's just the way things are up here.
