So yeah, here I am.
Haven't played Warhammer 40k since I was about 11 then a few weeks ago decided to give it a go again now I actually have the patience to paint and the focus to stick with one army for more than 2 minutes.
So me and my friends went to Warhamer World in Nottingham Uk and I managed to spenjd a considerable amount of money on models and supplies *ahem* So I have started collecting Imperial Guard, got my HQ, Cadian shock troops, Stormtroopers. Painting my Cadian shock troops first of all, doing them 5 at a time, looking pretty good actually considring I haven't painting in 8 years now, might get some pictures up for you to laugh at!
So yeah anyway, great site, tons of stuff, looking forward to my stay here!
Good to have you here, welcome !
Take minute to read over the forum rules. Stick to 'em and your stay will be a happy one.
I play IG too, they are a very rewarding army. Keep at the painting, its worth doing a good job on them because then you will have one of the 40 odd completely painted IG armies in the world....
Ahaha, I didn't take how many models I would have to paint into consideration when I got everything, it might be something i regret in about another 30 models time but i've always wanted to collect them so what the hell!
Hey ager, and welcome back to the hobby!!
I also collect guard, and i know how much of a pain they are to paint, i went for a camo scheme (and doctine) and they take me about 2 hours a man...... I have about 140 (sob, sob).
And your from england!! (either that or you went a long way to get to nottingham). I'm from Blackpool meself, it's kind of England, and kind of not.
C-ya around then!
