There I was just running searches through Google looking for information on Warhammer 40k.
Being a beginner and all and quite new the game I figured I could find some resources on starting to paint my models and compiling Troop Lists when I stumbled across the Librarium and figured why not sign up, seems like an inviting place and from what I could see (as an unregistered guest) there was a lot of really good information here that could help me.
Fell into the hobby mostly though my friend Adam. Him, his dad and a 3rd person own a games/hobby store in town here and he was always talking and paint in models when I was by his house, he pused me toward it and even (in a move of extreme subtelty) bought me the 40k rulebook....and so here I am slowly piecing together an Imperial Guard army with a side thought of also throwing together a Necron Army (I got to play a tournament which I lost horribly at but had an awesome time) with one of Adam's xtra army's (Necrons) and I absolutely loved they way they played and could see the great potential they had in being quite devastating if used right.
Was kinda funny, I was the only person in the 20 man tourney that was using Necron but each person kept saying who they hoped they didn't draw against me and have to face the Monolith I had.
Well...that's the introduction. Minus the fact that I've gotten into a lot of the 40k literature (again thanks to the fact that Adam owns a store that sells it) currently reading through Eisenhorn, which is brilliant and I've got the line of Gaunt's Ghosts books that I've got to get back to and finish, then the Warrior Brood and Warrior Coven books after that.
I'll leave it @ that for now.
Thanks for having me as part of the Librarium and I hope I can help out down the road, once I've gotten my footings in the game.

I could write the exact same thing as Lost Nemesis have, but i'm afraid that would be unoriginal, i'll just say:Welcome Clevelandexpress!
Enjoy your stay, act nicely and follow the rules, and people will be more than willing to help you with any questions you might have.
(as long as you dont ask a question that have been asked more than 42 times since last monday )
Thanks for the warm welcome
I'll read through the rules, and I've already been searching through the Newbies section.
It's only been a couple hours since I signed onto here and I'm already picking up a lot of information and tips that are really going to come in useful when I really start getting to work on the models and help make it more of a jump into something enjoyable than a long blind fall into something scary, lol
thanks again, and I'll soon get some more info up on myself, profile wise
