brilliant? brilliant? this is border-line sociopathic. i mean, and don't get me wrong, if some cat wants to sit in his tower and call me names because i don't post condensed term papers, that's cool. i mean, i must have some nerve to think i can get my point across with minimal use of the shift key...

oh, well, what's a lazy american to do?

I read it all (very long read), but now I am confused.
Should I try to type proper or should I not.
Should I say :"Go to **** with your ****ing rules" or should I type it all out?

Meh, on some boards which I'm a member of, when someone writes stuff like what's in the writing like a wanker guide, they'll probably get banned. BTW, occasionally when trying to be cool, et cetera, I just write in leetspeak .

ROFL! Thats good stuff. Its a shame you diden't actually write that Phobos I was hopeing to say that it takes a wanker to know one!

It's not about writing literature, it's about having the decency to write understandably for everyone. There's a number of people on this forum of whom I rarely read a post, because to me it looks like a nonsensical continuous stream of seemingly random spelling, grammar and punctuation. Other than ending up with a headache and some severe confuzzlement, no further effects can be achieved from reading such a post.

I can definitely see both sides of the argument. I too tire of reading mindless drivel by my fellow gamers. On the other hand, there is the whole freedom of expression bit that one could argue. All in all, I appreciate the sarcasm as few can and must give kudos for taking the time to post.

I do, however, resent the lazy American bit. Lazy is the least of our problems...

"Wow! Brazil is big." —George W. Bush, after being shown a map of Brazil by Brazilian president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, Brasilia, Brazil, Nov. 6, 2005

Well, the simple way to post like a complete and utter pillock is to break the rules *applause*

Yes thank you, thank you. But you see, if people break the rules, it may be annoying but it is their probem at the end of the day. So fine, it may annoy us. But heck, it is always going to happen. These kind of people who spam just to tick us off get the consequences, and let them deal with it. They are the people who get banned, and they ain't going away unfortunately. They are out there in the world. . .
