Welcome to Librarium Online!
I use to play warhammer several years ago. In fact my first box set had the elves and goblins armies (not sure what version that is). Any ways I was going through some boxes and found my old models...natural I have a go size elven army. But the further I dug I did find alot of chaos models as well(most of which I aquired form friends who owed me money and/or where leaveing for college. But as I do need the new rules I am looking at buy the new box set (Why buy the book for 50 when you can get the same rules and two starter armies for 45.00) <---that still floors me. Any who you will proable be hearing alot more form me as i have already started formulating lots of ideas that are sure to have some people wanting to chop my head off.
Hope this wasnt to hard to read as my 2 yr old is trying to kick me in the face :shifty: .
The Great Coenono
Hey mate, great to see you on the site!
I'd just like to say welcome to Librarium Online. We have a great sight here (kindly run by Blackhad and the Admin & Mod staff) which is friendly and has managed to keep my fickle attentions for around 6 months - practically a miracle. Have a look at the rules (found here) and head on over to the WHFB forums, where all your questions will be answered.
Which type Elf army did you collect (dark/wood/high)? I quite like the look of the Dark Elves myself, but each army looks cool. Regarding your question about the rulebook - the big thick hardcover one has sections full of fluff and hobby advice after the rules. The book in Battle for Skull Pass is only the rules - it has no fluff and hobby stuff. Personally I like the extra sections, but the armies that come in the Battle for Skull Pass box are great.
Anyway, hope you enjoy LO mate. You should fit in really well if you follow the rules. Please don't hesitate to PM me if you feel I can help you with something. Right, enough of my babbling; I'll see you on the forums:yes:.
Thanks for the welcome, I dont think I should have a problem with the rules. And elven army I have is high elf. I to dig the Dark elf figures. But I made the high elf army before I really knew what I liked to play which I found a home in the chaos armies. But I am thinking about buying all the codex anyway. If nothing else its always a good idea to know what any army can throw at ya and plan a army that can stand up to most of those common threats.
Welcome to the forums mate Always nice to see another WHFB player out there. I'm not going to patronise you by telling you to read the rules again (when i joined i had about 5 different people tell me, obviously they thought i couldn't read^_^), you seem pretty switched on to me. I've seen you've made a few good posts already in FB Armies, keep it up!
