Is that the one where the gremlins steal here baby brother? and the door handles ask her the riddle? and the swamp of everlasting stinkiness?
Oh and the 20 Mortimer street wasn't the name of the street in my previous riddle, it's just where this book was published...
Correct this equation so that it makes sense by freely moving the given four digits but without introducing any additional mathematical symbols.
76=24

Four Suspects - Jack Vicious, Sid Shifty, Alf Muggins and Jim Pouncer - are being interviewed at the scene of a murder. Each of the suspects is asked a question. Their answers are as follows:
Jack Vicious: "Sid Shifty committed the murder."
Sid Shifty: "Jim Pouncer committed the murder."
Alf Muggins. "I didn't commit the murder."
Jim Pouncer: "Sid Shifty is lying."
Only one of the four answers is the truth. Who committed the murder?
Feel free to post your own riddles...I'm just picking the less maths-oriented ones out of my book.

Ill have to think about that one tomorrw when im more awake... 4am right now
Also, any chance we could get some more maths orientated ones, especially for me
I love riddles, and maths... Im such a geek...![]()

Hmm... Sid Shifty's and Jim Pouncer's replies can't both be lies... but if niehter of them can be, neither can Alf's (otherwise we would have both Alf and Sid or Jim as murderers). Crap.
Uh... I'm stumped. Neither Jim nor Alf can be lying without figuring out the rest of the riddle.
