LOL!!!
I'd probobly join up in the imperial guard as an artillary company grunt, i'm relatively safe and I get to watch huge explosions. Failing that adeptus ministorum grunt would be nice; i could aabuse my power of rations distribution for personal profit.

Be careful Kevin, Any abuse of power for personal gain would certainly be detected by the Ecclesiarchy, (sp?) Masters of that very thing for 10,000 years. You could end up cleaning the locker rooms for the sisters of battle.

the way i see it its a choose your own adventure without a good ending. you etheir live a terrible life, die in battle, or get executed for heresy. I'd hide under a bed. if that dosent work I'd try and join the tau. they seem safer then the imperium...
Hmm...
Tau would be the best bet for me. Try to get passage on a rogue trader and not get eaten in the warp.
Just as long as we were discovered by humans before anyone else. Like the DE, ouch.
I dream of a day when a chicken can cross the road without anyone questioning its intentions.
Yeah I would join up with a Rogue Trader and head right for the Eastern Fringe and join up with the Tau, but try and hang out at least within the 2nd or 1st ring if possible. I would try to help them with their Warp issues![]()
I hope people are having fun.
Join the Space Wolves!
They are the only chapter that recruits anyone, including fully grown men, rather than only prepubescent boys.
The plan: land inconspicuously somewhere on Fenris, along with full winter gear and a gun. Fenris is a Feral world, meaning they're still living in the viking era - ie. no guns, with the exception of the Space Wolf fortress. Find me a war party of some native Fenrisians and kill them all. In a sneaky way. Hopefully, that will get the attention of the Wolf Priests. The sneaky fashion of the killing might help them identify me with the cunning of a wolf scout. This means, the induction process is normal starting with blood claws, then Grey hunters (I intend to survive till this stage by not being at the front of a blood claw charge). But, after Grey hunters, instead of moving onto wolf guard or long fangs, I go to Wolf Scouts. yay! or even lone wolf if I outlive my Grey hunter pack.
Rewinding a bit, if i survive the gene-seed process (seeing how space marine inductees are normal humans prior to the implantation of gene-seed, I should have as good a chance as any), then good. If not, then I become a Wulfen, and live happily among the Fenrisian wolves. Relatively safe, considering Fenris having one of the heaviest planetary defense systems in the galaxy.
Being in the Space Wolves could make one very happy, due to the lack of the Dogmatic restrictions seen in most (or all) other chapters, and imperial guard regiments. Especially being a lone wolf or a wolf scout, that freedom is increased tenfold.
Plan B: join the Tau
Sweet guns!
I am really not going to lie... Being a space marine would be the best, but I actually like the life that I live now, so when the military gave me all my war gear and told me to go to fight the aliens that just landed... I would simply take my wife and my jeep and head up into the mountains and dissapear and live out my life and enjoy it with out having some one all over me all the time...
oh... and yea pretty much if that wasnt going to work then I would have to say that tau would be the best way since they are predominantly a peaceful race...
Slaanesh, god of the beer goggles
Being a commisar sounds like fun! Either that, or get a job in the Imperial Navy as comms officer.
I don't think this is necro-posting. Sorry if it is.
Anyway, I would run off to Games Workshop and join them because they managed to know all about evrything. Therefore they must be:
a). They are a (PEACEFUL!!!!!!) branch of the Imperium
b). Know everything and are actually Gods of this universe.
If it turned out they got lucky, I'd go see if it was possible to kill a marine in power armour with a plastic lascannon by hitting him in the eye repeatedly with it.
