In the midst of site bugs, I'd like to offer my thanks to Blackhat and the mod-team for creating and maintaining a welcoming, friendly forum environment. I've been to other forums and the culture at the majority of them seems to have devolved into that group of guys that take every opportunity to berate or insult one another.
Internet forums, as a medium, don't always translate posters' posture when they make criticism or useful arguements. My observation is that this results in a perceived hostile environment, especially to new users.
When I first created my account I found the veterans very helpful and willing to answer the silliest of my questions. Even when I was engaged in debates in the Enhance Forum (R.I.P.) most people were cordial.
This comes from having standards and upholding those standards. Though I was against the removal of the Enhanced Forum, I can see how some of the topics there violated those standards. It's not my house, therefore, I would have to go practice my free speech somewhere else or carve out my own little niche on the Internet.
LO has its fair share of knowledgable members, a great format (segmentation of topics), and welcoming culture. There's not much more one can expect when it comes to content.

Amen! Thanks Blackhat and Co
We definitely try out best to keep the forum in tip top shape for our most important charge - the members. Without you guys, the mod team wouldn't have much to do, now would we? Keep voicing your thoughts; the good, the bad, the encouragement, the suggestions. Only with members' thoughts and ideas can LO grow as a forum and continue to thrive as a community.
