Here's AFG's Guide to Posting Pics on forums that use the BBCode format (like LO, conveniently):
I) Right-click the image you want to use. You want a menu to pop up where you clicked.
II) Near the bottom, you will see an option called "Properties". Click that.
III) A cool little box will open in a new window. This box will call itself "Element Properties" and there will be a large amount of largely meaningless numbers and letters and computer-symbols
IV) There will be three sections. The one at the top, which has "Link Properties", a middle one, which says "Image Properties", and a bottom one which says "Miscellaneous Properties". What we want is the middle one: "Miscellaneous Properties".
V) The top line of that group contains a long URL. Highlight this, then press Ctrl + C to Copy this URL.
VI) Find a cool topic on LO to reply to. Click Reply, and type your message. Not too sure if the Quick Reply has this function too, but you will see a bar above the post that you are typing. In that bar, there will be a picture of a yellow box with a couple of mountains and a random grey dot (said dot is in the top-right corner). Click it.
VII) A thing will come up in which you type the URL of your image.
VIII) If you don't have a memory to one thousand places (ie, if you're normal), then press Ctrl + V. Your URL will appear. Click OK
X) Your URL will appear with [IMG ][/IMG ] tags around it (but without the spaces). This is good.
XI) Press Preview Post (by Submit Post), to check to see if your image has worked.
XII) If it does work, then submit your post as normal. You can type out the tags if you can't be bothered clicking the icon. That's the cool thing about BBCode, you can do that with anything.
Here's one I made earlier (or stole from the top):
There, hope that answers your question. Maybe I should enter that in the guides competition.
Ok what part are you getting stuck on? for my example I grabbed the google image.
1. find your image on the net.
2. Right click on it and select:
- "Copy Image URL" in Google Chrome
- "Copy Image Location" in Firefox
- What ArchonFG Said about properties in Internet Explorer
3. test this by pasting (ctrl + v) in a space for text - like the address bar. it should look like: http://www.google.com.au/intl/en_au/images/logo.gif
4. when you are replying to a topic, either add the img tags to it front and back after typing (pasting) it in, or select the little insert image button and paste the url in when asked.
5. in either case you will have something that looks like this were you're typing, but without any spaces
[IMG] http://www.google.com.au/intl/en_au/images/logo.gif [/IMG]
(ignore the fact that the Forum is automatically turning my text into links in this post)

You can also go to your User Profile. Not the User CP but your actual profile. Click on Show All Albums. Near the top, you'll find Add Album. Once you've uploaded pictures, you can click on that picture and get the URL and even the BBC code to copy and paste into a post.
