I have been experiencing extremely long load times for this forum, i dont have any problems with forums like Dakkadakka, bolter and chainsword, or the tyranid hive. Any help on this would appreciated as it's hard to do anything with minute long minimum wait time for one page to load.
For the record, the top parts have no problem loading, the Ads take a little longer, and then the actual forum blocks take the longest. This was not occurring until recently, in the last few months and thus i dont know why it occurs
Load times seem as good as ever for me. What Browser do you use? (Im on FireFox) Maybe try wiping your Cookies etc.
If I use IE, the forum always takes a while to load. Actually it loads and then hangs with almost all the page loaded. Using Chrome, it whistles along nicely. This morning, though, it's a bit slower, noticeably so.
I downloaded that the other day. Very nice and all.. but then my IT geek friend shouted at me.
Did you read the license agreement? Whatever you do whilst using Google Chrome is automatically the property of Google.
Son your above post dave, if done on GC, actually belongs to Google...
I haven't had slow load times, i've had lo crash when i tried to do a search!
Got a "good" rumour from a GW staffer? Forget about it, LO'ers know more than any random GW shop staffer.

Edit: Hmm, not sure about what your buddy said. Here's what I found.9.4 Other than the limited license set forth in Section 11, Google acknowledges and agrees that it obtains no right, title or interest from you (or your licensors) under these Terms in or to any Content that you submit, post, transmit or display on, or through, the Services, including any intellectual property rights which subsist in that Content (whether those rights happen to be registered or not, and wherever in the world those rights may exist). Unless you have agreed otherwise in writing with Google, you agree that you are responsible for protecting and enforcing those rights and that Google has no obligation to do so on your behalf.11.1 You retain copyright and any other rights you already hold in Content which you submit, post or display on or through, the Services.
