Welcome to Librarium Online!
I was just wondering how the rep stars update, because I feel like I'm going crazy. I'm sure I had 8 while I had 800 odd rep, and I now have well over 900, but still only have 8 stars.
Am I imagining things? Is 8 stars for >900 rep correct? If not, do they only update periodically?
Have you already checked the sticky thread? It's in this same forum.
I don't think the stars directly correlate to rep totals. I have way too much rep but my stars seem to have maxed out.
I searched on the topic and I did see that thread, but I couldn't see any reference to the Stars issue in there - it state what the titles are in the main post, and the first FAQ tells you that your rep meter is show ("in a series of coloured squares" - presumably out of date) but not about what increments they go in or when they update.
The second link was broken; I can see you've removed it from the thread.
Update: I'm now over 1000 rep... but still only 8 stars.
You start off with one. You get an extra one for every 100 rep you get. When you get to 5 stars, however, you get an extra star for every 200 rep you get.
So without even looking at your rep I can tell yours is between 900 and 1100
Since we're on the topic of the rep stars, why don't we talk about taking the cap off the max number allowed? At this point, we have so many members that have reached the upper limit, the stars have kind of lost their reputable clout.

Spambot kill tally. . .337
It would matter only if they continued stacking to the right, which would push that member info box off for some people and not others. Screwy visuals then.
If they stacked on a second row, I'm guessing it'd be okay.
