I've gone to my User CP and I don't see the "customize profile" option. The only way I can find it is by going to the FAQ and clicking on their link and when I get there I just see something like this! I'm not angry I'm just confused and don't know what I'm doing.
Style Customization Example Key Major Block Headers Minor Block Headers Primary Content AreasSecondary Content Areas
Block Footers Main Hyperlink Color Shaded Text Color
Also, I get this search-like box that says "control" and then a button that says "go." What does this mean and what does this do?

It's odd that you can't find it in the user CP, it's up near the top on mine. The 'Style Customisation Example Key' is an example to show you what your profile will look like when you've made the changes.
There's a lot of areas above the Style Customisation Example Key where you can select which colour you want the various parts of the profile to be, and some places where you can change fonts and things. Once you've done that you can preview it to see what it will look like.
I think this may be an error, so how would I change this from question to error?
I think you can't find it because it isn't available to regular users.
Ancalagon is able to customise his profile page because of his Veteran status.
althealchemist, I will fix your veteran status now. It should have changed automatically at one year, but sometimes it doesn't, which apparently happened to you. See if you can find the customize option after I change the vet status.
woops... boy I feel stupid, oh well I'm a veteran now apparently.
Hey thanks a lot! Have a rep for your help
