Lately the limit of 3 lines total on the signature text has become a hindrance for me when I want to change it to something else. I find this a bit strange considering a lot of other people have signatures well in excess of 3 lines in length. I realise that bandwith is an issue but wouldn't it be possible to give us a few extra lines, maybe something more like 7 or 8? As far as I can tell no one has a particularly "abusive" signature and I'd like to think we are old enough to know how to keep it under control.
I was just wondering why every time I go to change my signature, the number of lines I am allowed gets shorter and shorter. It got reduced to 5 which wasn't a big deal, but I just tried to change it and now it tells me only 3 lines are allowed.
I went to see if subscribers get bigger signatures, but the information given in this thread, Says that whether you are a member, veteran, or subscriber you still get 5 lines.
It's not a huge deal, I just wanted to be able to change the army tracker in my signature and still keep my quote.
Was just wondering if the 3 lines was a mistake or if that is the new norm.

I reduced the amount of characters and lines in the sig a while ago and it has been discussed. The new rules of the sig were set because of to many members put to much stuff in the signature.
Blackhat's new blog network for terrain crafters!
Can we revert to the 'no animated sigs' rule, too, please? I'm a devout follower of its validity now.
