A set of 12
A set of 16
A plastic case for a container
Container doesn't matter
Locate the LO icon on the 6
Locate the LO icon on the 1
Would you change from 12mm to 16 if it meant a better logo?
You can make multiple votes, but please follow the guidelines below to give us as accurate a count as we can get.
It doesn't matter if you intend to buy a set of dice or not. You can answer regardless. We just want to know what the general opinions are.
- Vote for one and only one dice size.
- Vote for one and only one amount.
- Vote for one and only one container option.
- Vote for one and only one icon-placement option.
UPDATE - August 5
I just emailed three companies asking for information.
Here's what I asked about...As for the scatter and artillery dice, right now we're not pursuing that as it could really drive up the cost of the dice.
1. 12 mm dice
2. set of 16 or 20
3. no container
4. LO logo on 1 side
5. silver white with blue pips/logo
We will probably seek money upfront. We can't place the order until we have cash in hand. The site doesn't generate enough income (it keeps itself afloat) to do that.
So we'll probably set a price based on a minimum number of orders and then open a window of time for people to place that order. It will almost certainly be via Paypal.
I know I just voted for putting the icon on the 'one' face, but now that I think about it it seems odd.
You'd want the symbol to be something special, surely, and your great champion rolling snake eyes (even if they're both LO symbols) surely isn't a good thing? Or is it just to cushion the blow?
Personally I think 12mm dice are a better size, with the logo on the 6.
I'm not too fussed about a container, as if this is going to push the price up, and I can always just use a plastic bag.

No more NG spearmen, thanks! Now I need some pump-wagons!
I voted 12mm/16/no preference/1. I would like them to be 12mm because it fits in well with all my existing GW dice. 16 is a good number, but I would prefer maybe a pack of 20. No preference on the container, except I do not want leather (eg a leather pouch). As the Paint Monkey said, LO symbol on the 1 makes sense. I like to see a swarm of sixes when I roll well and the round symbol looks like a large 1-pip anyway.
I voted 16mm.
I'd prefer the LO symbol on the 1. It's round.
How would you intend to put the logo on the 6? surely you didn't want 6 logos on there? And pips on top of the LO logo wouldn't look right.
Perhaps I'd change my opinion if you explained exactly how the LO logo on the 6 would work, so i didn't vote for either of them.
16mm/12 dice/no container/icon on the 1.
nice size, better than the smaller ones/16 is too much as i, and i can imagine, others, have dice already/i got a dice bag already/GW dice got the logo on the 1 too, will make it easier to read in one go.
Got a "good" rumour from a GW staffer? Forget about it, LO'ers know more than any random GW shop staffer.

The Dutch Legion
I'd like 16mm (they feel a bit more fun, nice and chunky, and if these are going to be my 'special' dice, I want them to feel even more special), in a set of 16 (more = better), and the LO symbol on the 6, so those sixes feel so much more awesome (and your opponent knows he got owned by your army, and by LO....).
I don't really mind how they are transported, as I have a selection of carrying implements, so they will probably get put into one of those, anyway.
