Welcome to Librarium Online!
(This might also be relevant for other Armylist subforums than those of 40k, but these are the only ones that I visit.)
Currently when you wish to post an armylist you must select one of four prefixes -corresponding to the point range of your list- before you're able to do so.
Now this is a fine mighty initiative and if it worked it'd help streamline the armylist names and give the LO users a better overview.
The current prefixes are however rather uninformative and almost ridicolous. Here goes:
">1000", ">2000", ">3000" and "<3000"
Let me give a few examples as to where the problem with those prefixes lies:
Say I wish to post a 750pts list.. the only fitting prefix would be "<3000"..
If I want to post a 2500pts list, do I choose ">1000", ">2000" or "<3000"? they'd all be right.
A 3000 points list would be either ">1000" or ">2000".
I think my point is clear already.
Now I don't know if there's a limit to the amount of prefixes you can have, but I think having prefixes of the common gamesizes would be infinitively more useful. And then for the odd lists simple have an 'Other' prefix.
1500, 1750, 1850, 2000 and 2500
And maybe even 200 (killteams), 500, 600, 750, 1000 and 1250.
I hope you (the forum mods/admins) will take notice of this feedback, as I honestly believe it'd help improve Librarium Online.
While I'm on to the prefixes I might aswell nitpick: In the Space Marine subforum there's a "Space Wolfes" prefix rather than a "Space Wolves". Okay, really minor detail, but I figure it shouldn't be so hard to correct and that it would be worth the time.
Thank you very much in advance // LastDinosaur
It seems that someone just used greater than symbols instead of less than symbols, and the reverse for the last one.
this has been fixed now. Thanks for reporting
