How do you edit a thread title?

The title says it all. I must just be dumb because I can't figure it out. Thanks.

If you click "Edit Post" it will bring up a text box to edit the content of the post. If you then click "Go Advanced" you will be taken to a page where you can edit the thread title as well.

Actually it was not quite what I needed. It did change the title in the first post but not the header that people see when browsing the forum. Is there a way to change that?

As far I have been told you can not. However some Mods can do it I believe.

My bad all. I didn't realize it wouldn't let you change the title. Gedderz is right, only moderators can do it.

In the future if you want a title change simply hit the report post button, let us know the desired title and we will be happy to do it

Will that change anytime in the future?
It just sounds like a waste of time for the mods to edit typos and such from a title.

Thats a good point. I just changed it so thread titles can be changed within 24 hours of creating the thread.
