    Threads not marked as read.

    Hello mighty Lords of LO,

I've had this problem ever since I've joined LO.
It's nothing major, it's just rather annoying as I browse the entire forum and keep opening stuff I've already read.

basically: when I've read through a complete sub-forum and go back to the mainpage (either using the back button of my browser or use the 'Forum' button located just under the banner) it doesn't mark the sub-forum as read. But when I open said sub-forum again, all threads in it are marked as read.
when I go back step by step using the links just under the advertisement on top of the page, I does get marked as read. (The one that shows, step by step, where you are. so in this case it's Forum>Librarium Online>Site Feedback& Support> New Thread) But only if I click each link in reverse order (in this case: New Thread> Site Feedback & Support>Librarium Online>Forum)

It's also when I browse LO on my mobile phone using Forum Runner (I only have the "Back" button of Forum Runner then).
on my pc I use Firefox, the latest version.

What's causing this? and how can I solve it?
again, it's nothing major, just rather annoying at times.

    Cheers,
    BR

It's a browser thing rather than a LO thing. Cache I think. When you click the back button, it loads a cached version of the page instead of reloading the whole page.

You might be able to turn it off but if you do, you will most likely experience slower browsing.

When you hit the back button, hit f5 after and it will reload the page with read markings.

As for the phone, I don't know, I face the same problem and don't know how to do anything about that. No f5 on a phone.

    Al right, thanks!
Now time for some google-fu and see if I can force a reload in Firefox.

Oke, sadly the Google isn't strong within me.
    Can't find anything at all.

    Anyone has any idea?

Unfortunately Raganok is correct. I can't believe that it is happening when you click the "Forum" link as well. For me that refreshes things.

Have you tried a different browser to see if it happens the same?

It usually leaves the sub forums marked as unread, until I refresh the page (f5).

I haven't tried any other browser because I don't like any other. But I'll try when I get home. (Now on Forum Runner).
