Welcome to Librarium Online!
Just wondering why there's now a two-smiley limit on posts? Is there some techinical reason or are you all just cracking down on excessive goofiness? I must admit, I miss the little guys...
Ok. I'll admit it. I'm a smileyholic. First it started out with an occasional "winking" smiley to help prove a point and then I moved on to the hard smileys. I even used the "frownie" smiley once, but that stuff really f'd me up so I swore I would never do it again.
It's just like they say on TV man. At first you start out on the small time stuff like like a "winkey" or a "mellow", and then the next thing you know you are tossing down a "confused" smiley before noon.
Now I'm a regular SA (Smiley Anonymous) member. I think that the mods saw this and decided to cut me off. I mean, I need my fix like, though, right? So now I just post shorter posts and use the maximum smileys in each post. I mean, one machine won't let me withdraw enough to feed my daily addiction so I have to go from post to post pulling out my daily limit of smileys.
Look. I'm going through withdrawal shakes now!
But it's those dangerous, imported smileys that really do it to you. You know, those ones that are highly addictive because most people don't know they exist? The ones that, when you use them, fill you with glorious shining light only to kick your feet out from under you and leave you with a splitting headache once the elation wears off.
Wha...? Did you see that?
No...Oh god NO!
Two smileys per post doesn't seem enough IMO but it doesn't bother me.

As for this thread, I actually would like to know if there's a reason for the limit, despite the earlier silliness (it's H0urg1ass's fault). Somebody care to enlighten me?
