Not sure if this is totally on topic with this board, my appologies if it isnt, but anyways... i was just wondering if there were any way that our beloved and ever worshipped site admins could do something about the ranking system here. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it, i think its cool. I just think it would be cooler if our ranks reflected the army we used. I myself am an avid player of the dark eldar, and it makes me sad that my rank is that of a space marine. Anyways, just asking

This should actually be in Q&A so I'll move it

I think there was a topic about this in Q&A already, so you might want to check if there is, and read up on any comments that were made.

I don't think there's a way to do what you're describing. Certainly it would need some sort of add-on, and I doubt that it's ever been thought of before. Invision comes with 3 ranks to begin with, and you can only add on to those ranks or take away, so unless someone comes out with an add-on, which isn't likely in my opinion, then I don't think that it could be done without Blackhat or Belial delving into the code of the board itself.

Of course there are rare occasions where I'm wrong..

toastee means that when you reach a certain post count, that admin can change your rank to whatever you would like it to be...

Actually you can edit it yourself. Admins can edit it regardless.

I have heard from one person that you can change the member title at 100 posts and from another at a set number of posts. Which is right as I have 100 posts but still can't edit my title?(please don't close the topic because of this as I am only asking a question, as last time I asked this my topic was closed.)
