If I'm not constantly clicking around the site after a few minutes it signs me out automaticly. Is this something on my end like cookies or is it a site feature? Whenever I make a post I take my time to think it out and by the time I'm finished I'm usually signed out and I just realized recently that if I sign right back in it will still post...before that I just stopped posting for a while.
I believe it is a site feature; most sites on the internet that require you to log in will automatically log you out if you’re inactive for a pre-set amount of time, for instance while typing a post. However, when you log into your account it is possible to check a box saying ’Remember Me?’ next to your username and password; this will keep this from happening by downloading a cookie to your computer – if you want the site to ’forget you’, for instance if using a public computer, simply log out and/or delete your cookies.

This isnt 100% effective. I have it checked and it still times me out. It gets very annoying sometimes. I go on quite a few forums and when I come back to this one, its normally timed me out. I know the cookie is working (well I think it is 0_o) because it remembers my user name. This is the only forum I have this problem on, so I'm assuming its something in the site's code thats doing it :/ Maybe the cookie is set up different to other forums'? By checking "remember me" you will not need to login each time you visit the site. If you are inactive an certain amount of time you will be logged out. Its a secrity measure.
