Welcome to Librarium Online!
This is adressed to the moderators and administrators of this site,
I am dissapointed that you chose to allow an article such as codex Jihad to appear on your site, surely this is highly inappropriate in such a politically sensitive world. it appears to me that the person who has posted this is either betraying their religion (if muslim) or being extremely in-sensitive to the majority of peaceful, law-biding muslims.
I am just expressing my opinions of this and i hope that libararium online will read and absorb this message.
The fact that it's offending one/a couple people should be noticed. Don't think of me as a sympathetic person but...
I don't even think it goes along with the 40K universe. Comon' creators of Codex: Jihad, be more creative. Fit it into the 40K universe with a different name and 40K related fluff. It's a good idea, just not 40K'ish yet.
Make it happen!

What the heck?
This post says it was written by someone named Grey.

Unfortunately we dont, or at least, I dont read every article we publish. Rest assured this will be rectified.
To say I am not impressed by the author, who after investigation is not our current moderator Grey, but someone else using that name, is an understatement.
There are arguments for and against this article, free speech and the like, but the current one is that its simply too crass and biased. We are looking into removing it shortly.
If anyone has any concerns, please PM me or another supervisor immediately. Dont leave things to other members to pick up, or assume we're everywhere at once, because we're not.

Codex Jihad is indeed a controversial topic.Originally Posted by GamesmasterZ

The theme can work in a wh40k universe easily, but I find the codex overall isn't particular aligned correctly with the right with the theme. I find them rather very futuristic and superly advanced for their kind (being humanoid, not dissing the... people) , (comparing them to other WH40k races, and not saying that... well they won't have the chance to be advanced)
Maybe to tie this codex to the WH40k world, use stats near to a IG guardsmen. Codex Jihad would probably be more approriate if used something close to IG Doctorine rules. Then have their faith to Allah be as close as faith as a Space Marine is to the Emperor. The title should have been a little different, as Jihad is a Part of their beliefs, and should have been incorporated in their special rules.
But thats just my two cents..
It's serious damn and there was me thinking that it was just an April Fools Joke.
If it's not then i would say that at best it is in very bad taste.
Heh.. nah it wasn't a Aprils fool joke... thats what I know for sure. Oh well its taken down
Thank you, I think it is unwise to iterwine politics and gaming especially with such an insensitive article. I'm sure alot of people on this forum agree with me.
i never saw the article (so maybe i shouldnt comment...) but i can guess about the content..
i think the problem is that the term 'jihad' in the 40k sense is anachronistic as its use should solely be used in conjunction with a particular faith that does not exist in the 40k universe. While the idea may be valid the name was perhaps unfortunate- as far as i can see it can only serve to upset people. But as its been closed no harm done eh?

My actual first name is Gray, Thank you very much. Before it, (Codex Jihad) was posted, By Blackhat, by the way, he reviewed it, and commented that he seemed to like it. What do you mean by it is biased, the points costs are appropriate for the divergent tech. As for thier divergent tech, if you read the historic timline, they have been cut off from the rest of mankind since the emergence of psykers, and the warp storms. As for crass, there is nothing crass about giving other aspects of humanity entrance into the 40k galaxy and representing other views/religeons than, bow before the emperor, a significant role in the 41st millenium. After all, even amidst any conflict in human history there have been religeous divisions along multiple fronts. It is more crass to reject and supress such thought simply because a few might be offended and because it goes outside the traditioal "box" of the 40K universe. It is original and balanced. Just because you refuse to break out of the box, it is wrong for you to CENSOR this divergent expression.
The author of Codex Jihad
It is no less 40Kish than Codex Necromancers and I see you have embraced that one. Quit DISCIRMINATING just because you are too narrowminded to fit it in you view.
