I mainly play against magic heavy armies HE, DE and Tomb Kings. So I wanted to protect the ideals of Lizards and make a 2k llist so packed full of magic that they couldnt overcome it, but without making myself pathetic in CC. This is what i came up with. Any additional comments and tips are appreciated. To boost my armies dispelling capability i have turned it into a Sacred Host of Tepok as well.
1xSlann : 2nd Generation, Plaque of Protection, BSB, Plaque of Tepok, Diadem of Power
1x Skink Priest: 2nd level, Dispel Scroll
20xSaurus: Standard + champion+musician
14xSkink: Blowpipe, scouts
16xSaurus (palaquin): Standard + champion+musician, Blessing of Quetzl
Sacred Host of Tepok: Total =140 points
= 1993 points
8 power dice (+1) +1 dice per spell, +2 stored
11 dispel dice (+1)
Not quite sure if i have enough CC units to complement each other enough and im not sure of tactics to use... any help will be helpful

Please tell me what this is:I just don't understand. Also please look at the sacred hosts lists... You cannot have 11 dispel dice with this army, as skinks with the spawning of tepok have magic resistance(1) instead of generating dispel dice. Or if you use them without the sacred spawning for the army, then You can have 4 specials only, and all skinks/saurus with the spawning become specials, and you have 1 unit of kroxigors.Sacred Host of Tepok: Total =140 points

Ya I see what you are wanting to do however Tepok Host on skink units only gives the unit Magic resistance 1 which is a little useless since nobody is going to really be throwing magic at a bunch of meat shields. However sacrificing CC is an option if you want to make it anti magic. Now I realize that the Southlands list is Taboo but the fact that you can get alot of cheap units that can take a tepok spawning that actually gives another dispel dice It is nothing to sneeze at. let us see A 30 strong skink unit with tepok for 235 compared to a 20 strong saurus with tepok at 300 well you can really get a few more units in there with some really magic potential.
Get rid of the second unit of saurus and bump the Kroxigors up to 4.
Give the Slann the plaque of dominion unless you expect him to be shot at but even then you can hide him behind scenery and use the skink priest for line of sight.
I find trying to hide 10 skinks that are scouting a struggle sometimes let alone 14.
A nice little trick to use against Tomb Kings and especially the new Dark Elves is a skink priest with blessed mark of the old ones and Cube of Darkness. Tomb Kings rely on their magic to create the combats they want and so using Cube you can get yourself the advantage. Cube is also amusing to use on a dark elf supreme sorceress who has just earnt herself 4 power dice with Power of Darkness.
I find the best magic defence is offensive caster hunting. A JSoD will butcher HE, DE and TK casters.
i agree with kich's points, they're all great. BUT you could go for UBER magic heavy and grab 2 skink priests. I'd drop the saurus and bump the krox to 4 like kich said. Also, most of your enemies races tend to bring some warmachines and the terradons are great for that. ( I just got 5 myself for that goddamn skull catapult.) also if you are playing Tk terradons are great for snipin out casket of soul, as that is a great pain for lizzy's.
