    Magic Heavy 2250 (New to LM)

    Just trying out a magic heavy list for the local RTT's that roll around, here's the WIP:


    Slann Mage-Priest: Second generation/Placque of Dominion/Placque of Tepok/Diadem of Power/BSB/Sun Standard of Chotec - 625 pts


    Skink Priest: Level 2/Dispel Scroll - 125 pts

    Skink Priest: Level 2/Dispel Scroll - 125 pts

    Scar Veteran: GW/LA/Shield/BSoItzl/BSoSotek/Cold One/Venom of Firefly Frog - 141 pts


    15x Saurus Warriors: Full Command - 210 pts

    11x Skinks: Scouts/Blowpipes - XX pts

    10x Skinks: Scouts/Blowpipes - XX pts

    10x Skinks: Javelins - XX pts

    10x Skinks Javelins - XX pts


    15x Saurus Warriors: Full Command/BSoQuetzl (Slann) - 240 pts

    7x Saurus Cavalry: Champion, Standard (Scar Vet) - 265 pts

    4x Kroxigor: Ancient - 252 pts

    Total - 2250 pts

    List pivots around the two Saurus units, CoR and Kroxigors bumrush the flanks while skinks fill in the gaps and magic gets blasted up the middle. List originally had power stones on the Skink Priests, kinda figured that would be overkill after the pimpSlann.

    Please no points costs of units without upgrades, as it allows people to work out individual points costs - GN out

    This list does have some good potential, but I would suggest a couple of alterations to improve it's efficiency:

    1) Drop 2 of the Saurus Cavalry and the standard and get a musician instead. I find these small cavalry units work better without standards to give away.

    2) Drop the Ancient off of the Kroxigor units. It isn't worth the extra points.

    3) With the remaining points now gained, try to get a small unit of terradons to war machine/lone mage hunt. Their hit and run rule makes them excellent at this function.
