    2250p. comp list needs help.

    Try, try, try again. I need some help. I'm up against Daemons, Warriors, all the Elves, Empire and Bretonnians. What do I do? I've noted that the Slann doesn't do much in my battles, as I'm in combat by turn 2.

    However, as I really love the model and the fact that WHEN he kills stuff, he kills them good, I haven't gotten around to replacing him for a Oldblood. Yet.

    I've won 5 out of 6 matches, but I've always had a problem with big stuff (Dragons, Greater Daemons) and I think that the Oldblood could solve those problems. But is it worth it? And if not, what lore to pick for my Slann?

    (Note: Mainly for keeping big units and Greater Daemons occupied.)

    = 104p.

    (Note: War machine/wizard hunter.)

    3 Kroxigors
    + Ancient
    = 180p.

    16 Temple Guards
    + Full Command
    + War Banner
    = 316p.

    (Note: Would it be better to change the banner (and the Kroxigor Ancient) for the Sun Standard of Chotec?)

    20 Saurus Warriors
    + Spears
    + Full Command
    = 270p.

    20 Saurus Warriors

    10 Skink Skirmishers
    + Brave

    I am a little iffy on the cold one here. Lone characters running around are problematic, and if you put him in the saurus or temple guard, you risk a whole unit going stupid at the wrong time.

    This is another character I would be hesistant to take. A low save when he gets out on his own is an issue. If I wanted a chief for this purpose, I would put him on a terradon, with a unit to go in.

    + Ancient
    = 180p.
    Ancient is really worth the points unless protecting something else. If they are going to be by themselves, I would try to get the unit of to 4.

    The thing about this character is that he Lone-charges a heavy unit with low strength (knights for example), and then he stays there for the duration of the game, killing of one or two per round of combat. He has a 0+ AS, so he's safe unless surprised by something with high S or ignore armour attacks.

    I'm low on points. The cheapest alternative is a Saurus Veteran with Charm of the Jaguar Warrior, but he can be dispelled, and then he is surely dead. However, he is much more resilient.

    Sounds good, but where can I drop 55p.?
