Hey everyone. I will be entering a tournament with a team of 4 players. Each battle you play with an other teammate. So the battles are 2v2, and every player is allowed to field 1000 points.
Now we agreed that we were going to skip magic. So shooting and combat are the way to go.
My other options are warriors of chaos, vampires or empire, but i wanted to play with my old love, the lizardmen again
My teammates will be fielding deamons of chaos (khorne) dark elves, and 1 yet to be announced
I was wondering what kindof army i could field.
Till now i have a draft wich looks like this.
scar vet, cold one
priest, engine (yes in 1000 points )
5 cold ones
I'd go salamander over Razordon and I worry that you don't really have a solid, non-stupity block.
The only difference between a madman and myself is that I am not mad.
I'd have to disagree with dropping the razors, as you are playing daemons and Dark Elves you will be facing lightly armoured, High Ld troops. this means that the sally's panic will not be very effective.
It would be preferable to take a unit that can dish out loads of attacks, over one that can't do as many and who's armour modifier and leadership tests won't be as effective.
This is why I would go with Razordons. Its all a matter of opinion though.
It is a matter of opinion, very very true. Personally, I wouldn't take either. Too many points in a small game. I would take some terradons, and more skinks. If your partners are bringing the troops, concentrate on some shooting.
I would also drop the vet. Doesn't really seem to do much. Get another cold one for that unit. Maybe give them a magic banner.
I am right 94% of the time, why worry about the other 3%.
