I am New to Lizardmen RIght now I have a Battalion and Stegadon and trying to plan ahead
for 2250 army I came up with this list even though it is not perfectly calculated ( becuase I need some one to give me ideas )
please suggest Magic Items and Feel free to redesign anything
Slann with 100pts Magic items and 3 Disciplines
Priest on EOTG with 50 point Magic items
Priest on Foot with 50 pts magic items (feather cloak maybe)
18x Saurus with Spears
10x Skinks Skirmishers
10x Skinks Skirmishers
5x Cold one Cavalry
20x Temple guards
Depending on which army you are facing you may not need 3 disciplines on the Slann. Try adding a BSB instead. Also, you can usually get away with 14 or 16 temple guard so you can salvage some points there.
As knight errant siad, you can definitely save som epoints on the temple guard. I find 16 is usually good enough. Despite the fact that the unit including the slann is what will determine whether they can win the game, most players tend to be afraid and try and go for everything else, which only helps you win.
I run the slann like this, and its within your points limit:
BSB, War Banner, Cupped hand sof the old ones, Becalming cogitation, Focus of mystery, Focussed rumination.
If you are really going that magic heavy it is probably worth giving the scav vet the charm of the jaguar warrior and a great weapon so he can fly around tearing chunks out of the enemy particularly chariots and war machine crews.
List looks solid, you should have a good measure of success with it.

I think it is a very good list that will cause serious problems for your opponents. You have a very powerful magic phase in both turns, two very strong close combat blocks and three hard hitting units. I think your main problem would be up against warmachine heavy armies. So sneaking in a unit of terradons could be very helpful.
You could do this by dropping 1 cold one, two temple guard and a dispel scroll. 5 cavalry would work fine, and 9 dice plus 1 scroll and becalming cogitation is a very teethy magic defense, so those drops are easy. But im not sure about shrinking the temple guard any further. Hmm, 14 might be ok, depends a little on who you come up against.
Another option for your army is to drop cloak of feathers and a cold one, to upgrade the other stegadon to another engine for your second priest. In which case you could probably drop the second dispel scroll for rod of the storm or the ixti grubs. Two engines would be plain brutal, but your oppo may cry cheese...
