I've got a skink list mostly built, but i'm still deciding between two different HQ's. With the priests, i'll have two very mobile spellcasters, but with the chief, ill get a bigger terradon unit and 10 more Skink Skirmishers. Also, I'm having some trouble deciding between a salamander and razordon. Anybody have any opinions on which works better? I actually like the Salamander's model a bit more if that helps :p
Skink Priest x 2
- Cloak of Feathers
Skink Chief (joins terradon unit)
- Light Armor, Enchanted Shield
- Venom of the Firefly Frog
Skink Skirmishers x 10 (x2) (x3 if Skink Chief is taken)
140 ( 210 )
Terradon Riders x 3
- Brave (if Skink Priests are taken)
90 ( 100 )
Salamander(yay)/Razordon Hunting Pack
- Extra Crew
TOTAL: 500 ( 500 )
please help me decide and revise! thanks!

Selling Dwarf Battalion - Empire + Chaos Army Book - SM Codex - 40k stuff
salamanders are better with a skink list cause they can take out armour better and if you like the model then good times
but you cant take the same magic item twice andif there flying round by them selfs and the enemy have any shooting there dead
so go with the chief or change the itams on the priests so they dont die mabye put them with some skirmishers
hope that helps and good luck
1. Your priests can't have the same item.
2. Braves don't add anything to skink units. Their points are better off used towards more skinks or equipment.
3. I believe the best mount for a chief is a stegadon. Since terradons should be used to block march moves, your chief would be easy prey.
I personally like ...
Skink priest at level 2.
Skink priest with the rod of storm.
10 skink skirmishers.
10 skink skirmishers.
Salamander with extra handler.
Use the terradons to block marching from turn 1, and the skinks should take care of the rest. A fragile, yet effective, force. ( Thx to -The-White-Lizard- for this idea. I tired it a few games, and love it! )
