Welcome to Librarium Online!
I have had lots of experience in 7th edition however since the latest edition has come out, i havent played a game. So ive read many threads and i wanted to create a list without a slann in 3000pts
Standard oif Discipline
Sword of Might
War Banner, Light Armour, Shield
Dispel Scroll, Diadem of Power
Armour of Destiny
Fencers Blade, Obsidian Trinket
My plan is is have a block of saurus warriors on the center right with the two stegadons. On the left of the warriors the temple gaurd and the the skink/krox unit. To the left of this again ive got my carno and cav unit to support the skinks. My BSB will go with the temple gaurd and the other scar vet with the saurus warriors. The way it should works is the wall moves up slowly in one solid line with the skink gypsy blocking incoming magic.
I want ALL constructed critisism and ALL opinions on the list

sooooooo does anymore want to give me any advise
I think that you will have a lot of trouble against heavy magic lists, since you have only one level 2 mage with one dispell scroll in 3000 game, and not enough fast units to hunt mages. You might also have problems with counter heavy warmachines lists.
I never tried temple guards without a slann, so I don't know how will they do. Perhaps you should take a slann without temple guard instead of temple guard without a slann, so you will have more solid magic defence (and realy powerfull offensive magic too). Maybe you should take some teradons so you could hunt enemy mages/warmachines. you could take about 3 units of terradons instead of your temple guards.
The problem I have with my carnosaur is that he is too easy to die before getting into combat. alot of armies have some type of stone thrower or canon that can hit him. Even a stone thrower with the center hitting at STR 9 will remove armor saves. The three games i played recently, the Carnosuar always died by turn 2. The best luck is the carnosaur dies and your hero lives but worse is your hero dies and your carnosaur lives. If you want a heavy hitter just bring a saurus old blood on foot. you can still get him up to 9 Str 5 attacks and then you can protect him in a block on infantry.
You dont need the 2nd scar veteran. your saurus and tough enough without him. use the points to by something else.
your TG champion with sword of might? isnt this the one with +1 str? why not just use your halberd that comes with him? if it is the attack one why have 4 str 4 attacks vice 3 str 5 attacks. i would give him something like the sword of the hornet or something enchanted or armor wise. use the mundane halberd that he already has.
one uit of salamanders or razordons would be effective.
at least one to two units of skink skirmisers to go after enemy war machnies would be usefull. esp since they can no depoly 12 in away and pioson effects WMs.
Seems like your list is going for speed. Not a bad concept but you have to go all in. One unit of warriors is fine, as you need to get your core points allotment, and that is hard with just skinks, but I don't see a reason for the temple guard. Also, get your scar-vet on a cold one as well. The BSB can hang back with the warriors. And get some better magic items for your characters. They seem a little weak. The armour of destiny is fine, but get some good weapons, and ward saves. And the priest can't have two arcane items.
I am right 94% of the time, why worry about the other 3%.
