2200pt beginner list
BSB, Cupped Hands, 2 disciplines, Lore of Light
Cube of Darkness
40 unit horde
30 unit wannabe horde
spears, full command on each
Skink Skirmishers: 12
Chameleon skinks: 2 units of 6 dinos
Temple Guard: 20 dinos
Salamander Hunting Packs: 2 packs w/ extra handler each
2091/2200 with no magic items/standards
I intended this to be an all-corners list. It is using only the models I have at hand. (which explains the 70wars) I did not include every point worth of items/standards because I am not sure what is effective to equip on which unit. My disciplines will probably change game to game as I find out what is proper for each scenario. Most likely they will be focused rumination and either focus of mystery OR becalming cogitation.
Criticism is obviously welcome, otherwise I wouldn't post it on this forum and I'd keep being a bad/newb player. Please give your logic for any changes. Thanks!
This is a very reasonable list. Not a fan of spears in this edition, but if that is all you have. You could always split the hand weapon guys, and fill the unit with spears. As long as more than half the unit has hand weapons, that is what they count as having.
As for your slann, you really have to pick your disciplines before you know any scenarios in a game. In a league or tournament, you have to list them before you know who you are playing.
Welcome to the jungle,
I am right 94% of the time, why worry about the other 3%.
I actually miscalculated: In order to have a core of 912 I needed to have 24 wars in the smaller unit, not 30. In this case, I'll probably drop spears and make them sword&board (saving points) since i think the spears really only shine in a true horde formation. Gives me some room for more chamo skinks i say
Thanks for the help
